Blog 8 5/21: Here's a health to the company

 Well, I wasn't able to finish the 2nd deck. but that's okay. I've been having so much fun building references into it that I'm going to continue building it afterward.

However, this weekend has one of the most fun and important parts of the design: Playtesting.

for the first time since August, I will have friends over to my house to play games. let me explain how playtesting will work.

my friends and I will all play several games of commander with different decks. while we rotate who has the deck we are testing for.

I will be the only person to not play my deck, as I built it and know it inside and out. all my friends will have a chance to play with it.

at the end of each game we will have a discussion on how certain cards preform, and if there is a problematic card, a quick adjustment will be made.

all other decks will be similar power levels (to each other) so we can know where the custom decks' power level is.

The winner of each game gets a cookie.

Honestly, I just am excited to see my friends again.
